Once again, Rick Sherman, with Paul Navidad on sax, will be performing on the Grandstand Stage, starting one hour before the Balboa Island Parade starts. The Rick Sherman Duo from 10 am to 11 am, and then the parade from 11:am to 12:30 pm (approx.). It’s an amazing small-town parade, and fun for the entire family, with the Patio Chair Drill Team, classic old cars, the USC Marching Band, local high school marching bands, Pearl Harbor Survivors, the Keystone Cops, decorated floats, marching dogs, and so much more! Stay after the parade for the after-party between the fire station and the Village Inn, with surf music by The Nomads and BIG Wednesday.
The Grandstand stage on Balboa Island is at the intersection of Marine Avenue (the main street of the Island) and Balboa Avenue. Come early (Rick starts at 10am, and keep in mind that the bridge closes at 10:45 am).
