DESCRIPTION:Friday\, April 12th\, 7pm to 11pm\, Rick Sherman (frequently with musician and vocalist friends\, who are welcome to sit in)\,\nat the NEWPORT HARBOR ELKS LODGE\, 3456 Via Oporto\, Newport Beach 92663\n(949) 673-6110 (reservations for dinner highly recommended; see details below)\nThe Elks Lodges are for “Elks Members and Their Guests Only”\, so as an Elks member myself\, my friends are welcome at all Elks Lodges as my guests when I’m performing. If you would like to come join me for this performance\, please send me an email or give me a call\, so I can assure that the names of all in your party are on the Guest List at the door. The Newport Harbor Elks Lodge has a great dance floor\, and the staff and the members are all very friendly\, and they warmly welcome guests. The food is very good\, and as is the case with drinks\, very reasonably priced. While it’s not required\, I highly recommend phoning ahead and making reservations\, in order to guarantee a “table with a good location near the music”.\nPLEASE NOTE: THE ELKS LODGE PARKING LOT IS NOW FOR ELKS MEMBERS ONLY.  NON-MEMBERS’ CARS WILL BE TOWED.  THERE ARE SOMETIMES METERED PARKING SPACES AVAILABLE ON VIA LIDO\, AND THE METERS DON’T REQUIRE MONEY (FREE) AFTER 6PM\, AND THERE IS ALSO A LARGE PARKING STRUCTURE (PARKING FEE) DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE ELKS LODGE.
