DESCRIPTION:THE 26TH ANNUAL BALBOA ISLAND PARADE & AFTER PARTY!!!\n10 am-THE RICK SHERMAN DUO (Rick\, with Paul Navidad on sax) starts performing; 10:45 am-the bridge closes; 11 am-The Parade Starts; After Party After the Parade (DUH!!!)\n“Our Treasured Island” is this year’s theme.  \nThe Rick Sherman Duo will be up on the Grandstand Stage to help with the festivities of one of the world’s greatest little parades! The Rick Sherman Duo will be performing on the stage between Starbucks Coffee and Shanghai Pine Garden\, at the intersection of Balboa Ave. and Marine Avenue (the main street of Balboa Island\, also known as “the south end of Jamboree Road”). We start performing at 10:00 am\, and the parade starts at 11:00 am. This is a great slice of Americana\, and a fun day outdoors for the entire family! Also\, please note that immediately after the parade (roughly around 12:30 pm)\, there will be a fun Street After-Party\, halfway between the Fire Station and the Village Inn\, featuring the fabulous surf and rock music band “Where the Desert Meets the Sea” (The Eagles & The Beach Boys)!!!
