DESCRIPTION:THE ANNUAL BALBOA ISLAND PARADE & AFTER PARTY!!!\n10 am-THE RICK SHERMAN DUO starts performing; 10:45 am-the bridge closes; 11 am-The Parade Starts; After Party\, after the Parade (DUH!!!) The theme of the Parade this year is” “Island Rodeo: Boots\, Chaps\, and Cowboy Hats”. Naturally\, we will be performing many classic Country and Western songs!! \nThe Rick Sherman Duo will be up on the Grandstand Stage to help with the festivities of one of the world’s greatest little parades! The Rick Sherman Duo will be performing on the stage next to Shanghai Pine Gardens Restaurant\, at the intersection of Balboa Ave. and Marine Avenue (the main street of Balboa Island\, also known as “the south end of Jamboree Road”). We start performing at 10:00am\, the bridge closes at 10:45am\, and the parade starts at 11:00am. This is a great slice of Americana\, and a fun day outdoors for the entire family! Also\, please note that immediately after the parade (roughly anytime between 12:45pm to 1:45pm)\, there will be a fun Street After-Party\, halfway between the Fire Station and the Village Inn\, with the great Country band “Whiskey Hayride”!
